The magnets in the magnetic knife blocks have been adjusted to hold most of the knives available on the market. However, there are knives that are extremely heavy or have a small blade and a very heavy handle that cannot be held by magnets

Oak is natural material, after first wash little roughness on can be felt on the surface. The effect will disappear over the time, after couple washings.

Hard waxMore

Hard wax prevents dirt from penetrating the surface of the wood. It is mainly used for kitchen countertops. The durability of wax is much higher than that of vegetable oil. The wax is certified for food contact.

Hard wax prevents the fibers from raising upon first contact with water on cutting boards or decorative trays made of oak, ash, or American walnut (with long fibers).
